FOXcore Nicro 82-T0 is a high-alloyed, nickel base flux-cored wire of the ENiCr3 or 6082 type for creep-resistant steels and nickel base alloys, meant for the flat and horizontal positions under a mixed shielding gas.
The rutile core gives a fast freezing pool, a well shaped face and slag that lifts easily, and the slag covers the bead while it cools slowly. The deposit is nickel based, and the wire works on boiler and furnace parts, chemical plant and heat exchangers exposed to aggressive media.
- Classification EN ISO: 12153 T Ni 6082 R M21 3
- AWS classification: A5.34 / SFA-5.34 ENiCr3T0-4
- Shielding gas: M21
- Approvals: TÜV (10298)
Degrease the joint before welding, sulphur and lead compounds left after machining lead to hot cracking in nickel. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture. Do not shorten the stick-out too far, a flux-cored wire needs resistive preheating so the core melts in time.
