3Dprint AM 2594 is a solid MIG/MAG welding wire. It suits welding duplex and superduplex steels and works on chemical plants, desalination units, tanks and offshore structures in duplex steel.
The wire suits hand work with a semiautomatic torch and mechanised stations, and it also serves in WAAM additive manufacturing. Typical work is the chemical, pulp and paper and marine industries, on parts loaded both mechanically and by corrosion.

Do not quench the joint with water and do not force the cooling, too fast a cooling rate leaves too much ferrite in the weld. Check the contact tip, a worn bore upsets the wire feed and causes burnback. Match the drive rolls to the wire diameter and check the liner, wire slip shows up at once in an unstable arc. Watch the heat input and the interpass temperature, overheating duplex upsets the ferrite to austenite balance.
