3Dprint AM 62 is a low-alloyed, high-strength solid wire for WAAM additive manufacturing. It also welds quenched and tempered high-strength steels on working machines, booms, cranes and structures that need a high yield strength.
The wire is fed continuously from the feeder and welded under shielding gas, and it also serves in WAAM additive manufacturing. It goes into machine building, crane structures and commercial vehicles.

Do not exceed the permitted interpass temperature, an overheated heat affected zone loses its toughness. Set the gas flow so the pool is covered over the whole length of the bead, and shield the station when you work in wind. Check the contact tip, a worn bore upsets the wire feed and causes burnback. Keep the heat input inside the range given by the steel maker, going beyond it lowers the strength of the joint.
