BÖHLER A 7 CN-IG is a high-alloyed austenitic stainless solid wire. It is used in tank building, process piping and equipment for the chemical and food industries.
The wire runs under shielding gas, fed continuously from a semiautomatic torch, and the deposit has an austenitic structure.

Use brushes and discs kept only for stainless steel, carbon steel particles cause rust staining on the face. Check the contact tip, a worn bore upsets the wire feed and causes burnback. Match the drive rolls to the wire diameter and check the liner, wire slip shows up at once in an unstable arc. Match the diameter to the thickness and the position, thinner wires are easier to control in constrained positions.
