BÖHLER Q G 3 is a solid wire for mild steel. It suits welding mild and low-alloy steels on welded structures, halls, frames, machine parts and repairs of structural steel.
It joins grades such as S235JR, S355JR, S235J0, S355J0, S235J2, S355J2 and S275N together with their equivalents. The wire is used in shipbuilding and vessel repair and on boilers and pressure vessels under technical inspection.

On thicker parts and in a cold workshop plan preheating to cut the risk of cold cracking. Match the drive rolls to the wire diameter and check the liner, wire slip shows up at once in an unstable arc.
