diamondspark 550 BC is a seamless high-strength flux-cored wire of the basic type, alloyed with nickel and molybdenum, with a yield strength above 550 MPa.
Among the parent materials it covers S420N, S460N, S420M, S460M, S460Q, S555Q and S460QL. The seamless make keeps the hydrogen level in the weld low, and the wire goes into machine building, crane structures and commercial vehicles, where a basic core is the choice whenever metallurgical cleanliness and resistance to cold cracking count.

Do not exceed the permitted interpass temperature, an overheated heat affected zone loses its toughness. Hold a short arc, a long one breaks the shielding and raises the hydrogen content in the weld. Take care of degassing and a clean groove, basic slag will not forgive oily edges.
