What diamondspark Ni1 RC flux-cored wire is used for

diamondspark Ni1 RC is a seamless high-strength flux-cored wire of the rutile type, alloyed with about 1 % nickel and rated down to -60 °C.

Among the parent materials it covers S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S450J0, S355N, S460N and S355NL. The seamless make limits moisture pickup by the core and keeps the hydrogen level in the weld low, all positions are open to it, and the wire is used in structural steelwork, on tanks, piping and series production.

  • Classification EN ISO: 17632-A T 50 6 1Ni P M21 1 H5
  • AWS classification: A5.29 / SFA-5.29 E81T1-Ni1M-JH4
  • Shielding gas: M21
  • Diameters: 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.4 / 1.6 mm
  • Approvals: TÜV (06226), DB (42.052.11), DNV, ABS, LR, BV, RINA, RS, CWB, CE

On thicker parts and in a cold workshop plan preheating to cut the risk of cold cracking.
