FOXcore Nicro 83-T0 is a high-alloyed, nickel base flux-cored wire of the ENiCr3 or 6083 type for creep-resistant steels and nickel alloys, meant for the flat and horizontal positions under a mixed shielding gas.
It joins materials such as NiCr15Fe, 1.4876, 800H and UNS N06600. The deposit is nickel based and resists intergranular corrosion, the deposition rate shortens the filling of wider grooves, and the wire goes on chemical equipment, high-temperature plant and dissimilar joints between nickel alloys and steels.
- Classification EN ISO: 12153 T Ni 6625 P M21 2
- AWS classification: A5.34 / SFA-5.34 ENiCrMo3T1-4
- Shielding gas: M21
- Diameters: 1.2 / 1.5 mm
Run the pool more slowly than on steel, nickel alloys are sluggish and will not flow out to the edges of the groove on their own. Remove the slag before every following bead, slag left between layers is the most common source of inclusions. Store the wire dry and do not leave an open spool in the feeder overnight, the core takes up moisture.
