Thermanit 25/09 is a high alloyed TIG rod for superduplex steels. It goes into tanks, pipelines and chemical or marine structures that need strength and corrosion resistance at the same time.
The rod suits grades such as 1.4410, 1.4467, 1.4468, 1.4507, 1.4515, 1.4517 and UNS S32750. Its deposit matches the superduplex grades.

Shield the root and keep the gas cover complete, oxidised zones in duplex are where pitting corrosion starts. Protect the root when you weld from one side, an oxidised underside spoils the corrosion resistance. Keep the rod inside the gas shield even after you lift it from the pool, a cold oxidised end will contaminate the next drop. Match the diameter to the plate thickness and the welding position, thinner rods are easier to control out of position.
