UTP ROBOTIC RAIL 30 NG is a seamless, self-shielded flux-cored wire developed above all for rail joint welding. It also suits low-alloy steel structures where impact properties are not required.
You weld without a cylinder, the pool is shielded by the decomposition of the core ingredients, so the wire suits outdoor work, wind included. It runs well on robot and mechanised stations, and the deposition rate shortens the filling of wider grooves.

Match the voltage to the wire feed speed, too low a setting gives a convex face and no fusion into the edges. Check the polarity before you start, self-shielded wires often run differently from solid wires. Keep the stick-out recommended for self-shielded wires, too short a one spoils the pool shielding and causes porosity.
