Start the choice from the material thickness and from the supply. For 1 to 6 mm sheet a 200 to 250 A source is enough, for 8 to 20 mm structures you need 300 to 400 A on 400 V, best with a separate feeder. Compare duty cycles at 40 degrees Celsius, because only then the numbers mean the same thing.
